Search for Eichler Homes

and Steve Allen’s relationship began while they were studying at the University of Pennsylvania School of Architecture. They both received a traveling fellowship that eventually led them to San Francisco in 1937. Once graduated the pair formed the San Francisco office of Anshen + Allen. Ever since then it has been both a product and driver of the Bay Area environment, enriching and changing its architectural landscape through iconic buildings such as the International Building, the Bank of California, the Lawrence Hall of Science and the famed Eichler houses.
